HOW TO ENTER: Enter online at: http://www.ELLEgirlmodelsearch.com by registering as a member of the site and filling out all the information requested, including name, birth date, email & mailing address and upload a photo of an entrant or entrants to be entered into that month's model search. Photo must be color or b&w and depict entrant's appearance, style, personality, photogenic quality and vitality. Entries must be received by the final day of the month by 11:59pm EST to be eligible for any given month's contest. Photos must be uploaded in a standard photo size and in .jpg or .gif format. You may enter as many photos you'd like per month by paying a registration fee per each photo. A $19.95 administrative registration fee is required per entry. This contest is open to females only, 13-24 years of age as of time of entry. Entries of an applicant under 18 years old must be completed and submitted with permission by a parent or legal guardian who has authority to register for the contestant, to make representations for the contestant, and to utilize this web site for the contestant. There are no height or size restrictions. Models that have made more than $25,000 in modeling fees in any one year are ineligible. Models under contract with a modeling agency are not eligible to enter if participation or winning would conflict with terms of the contract. Models who have worked for agencies are still eligible to enter. Employees of True Media Group, LLC. ("Sponsor") and members of their immediate families are not eligible to enter. VOID WHERE PROHIBITED AND/OR RESTRICTED BY LAW - all participants in or outside The United States must comply with their local laws.
One monthly winner, a 1st runner up, 2nd runner up & 7 additional finalists will be selected each month from all eligible entries received as of the date of each drawing. Entries will be judged by a panel of agents and other industry professionals on equally weighted criteria. Judges' decisions in connection with all matters concerning the Contest shall be final and binding. Only potential finalists/winners will be notified. By entering the contest and/or accepting any prize in connection herewith, entrant agrees to release and hold harmless Sponsors and all prize suppliers, their respective parents, subsidiaries, affiliates, divisions, advertising and promotional agencies, and each of their respective directors, officers, employees and agents (collectively, "Releases") from and against any and all claims, actions, and liability for any injury, losses, damages, disputes and/or disability resulting from participation in this contest and/or acceptance of any prize (including, without limitation, any travel or activity related thereto).

No transfers, substitutions in prizes or cash will be allowed except by Sponsor, who may substitute a prize of equal or greater value.
*The $25,000 portion of the ELLEgirl Model Search Grand Prize represents $25,000 in modeling contract(s) value in association with the ELLEgirl Model Search, its partners, advertisers, clients & other affiliates currently, and as acquired during the term of the winner’s reign as ELLEgirl of the Year. There must be at least 10,000 entries per year for the prizes to be awarded; if less than 10,000 entries are received during the yearly contest period, those entries will be rolled over into the next year’s contest, whenever available. The grand prize for the next year’s contest with the consolidated entries will remain at $25,000 and will not be increased. If an entry is rolled into the next year’s contest due to an insufficient number of entries, then such rollover entry will count as the entrant's automatic second year entry.
Your entered photograph must be your property. If you use a photograph or any other material that is not your property, it is your responsibility to secure all necessary rights and permissions to submit it and to permit Sponsor to use the photo as set forth in these rules.
Once you submit your photo, it becomes property of True Media Group, LLC. Any photographs in connection with this contest may be used for advertisements and/or promotional materials surrounding this contest and may also be used by the Contest Sponsors in their advertising, promotional, online and collateral sales and public relations materials.
By submitting an application in respect to this contest, all entrants automatically agree to the use of their photographs, names, images, likeness, biographical information and places of residence, without compensation, in print, radio, online or televised publicity relating to the contest, and True Media Group, LLC's websites, and automatically acknowledge that they waive the right for any payment, day fee or other monetary compensation from, in conjunction with or in any relating to the Contest Sponsor. No negotiations with outside agents of any entrant will occur. All communications will take place directly between the Contests Sponsors or its representatives or agents and the entrant.
Submission of an entry grants Sponsor the exclusive right to edit, illustrate, abridge, modify and publish the entry for any and all purposes in any media whether currently in existence or hereafter invented (including but not limited to print and digital media) without further compensation to the entrant or winner. Sponsor has the exclusive right to reject entries deemed inappropriate or unfit to publish due to content or photo file size.
Monthly winner & finalists will be notified by phone and/or email once the month's judging is complete. Each winner & finalists will be required to comply with all instructions in the prize notification letter and may be required to sign an affidavit of eligibility, a liability release, a publishing rights release and a publicity release (where permitted by law). If the completed signed forms are not received within 14 days of the date printed on the notification, prize may be forfeited and the entrant with the next highest scoring entry will be selected as the alternate winner. Prizes won by minors will be awarded to a parent or legal guardian who must sign all required releases. By accepting the prize, winner agrees that Contest Sponsors, their officers, directors, agents, and employees will have no liability or responsibility for any injuries, losses, or damages of any kind resulting from participation in the contest and/or the acceptance, possession, or use of any prize and they will be held harmless against any claims of liability arising directly or indirectly from participation in the contest or the prizes awarded. By entering, participants warrant that their entries are original and that Contest Sponsor's use of any material submitted will not violate any rights of any other person or entity, including, without limitation, any copyrights. Participants further agree to indemnify and hold Contest Sponsor harmless from any claims arising from Contest Sponsor's use of entrant's or winner's submissions.
Entries will not be acknowledged or returned. Contest sponsor is not responsible for late or misdirected entries or technical malfunctions and may suspend, modify or terminate the contest in the latter event. In the event of early termination, judging and selection of winners will take place using all eligible entries received prior to termination. Photographs will not be returned to entrants.
Liability for any applicable taxes and any other expenses not expressly included in the prize will be the sole responsibility of the winners. Any required tax reporting forms will be furnished to the IRS.
* Flights/travel accommodations to NYC are awarded from locations within the continental U.S. only. Winners outside these locations must arrange for travel to the continental U.S. to redeem prize.
